FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
IS THE TRACK AVALIABLE TO THE PUBLIC?
The track is available for use by members of the general public outside of normal “club” training hours, Little Athletics events, Athletics Victoria events, School groups and any other bookings which are detailed on the event calendar.
CAN THE TRACK BE BOOKED BY GROUPS AND SCHOOLS FOR EVENTS AND TRAINING?
Mornington track is available for hire, and equipment is also available at reasonable hire rates. To make an enquiry about booking the facility, please refer to the “Track Booking Form” tab and complete the booking form. The event calendar tab contains details of current bookings at the facility.
IS THE INSIDE OF THE TRACK LEASH FREE?
Dogs are NOT permitted inside the boundary fence of the facility at any time. Riding of Bicycles and Scooters on the track is NOT permitted,
WHO MANAGES THE FACILITY?
The Facility is managed by Mornington Athletics Incorporated (MAC) made up of representatives of the 2 main user groups that call the track home, Mornington Little Athletics Centre and Mornington Peninsula Athletics Club. To contact MAC, please refer to the “contact” tab.
